CHILDREN COMMUNICATE, CORRECT, COLLABORATE IN COMMUNITY CURRICULUMS FOR CLEANLINESS THIS HUMAN CHAIN HELPS FORGE LINKAGES – BUILD RELATIONSHIPS
Local issues seem to highlight the immediate need for:
- Inclusive education for girls and boys at the primary levels
- ‘Opportunities’ that do not need super-human skills.
- Work openings
- Respect and improved self-esteem
- Questionable level of education: Girls and boys at the primary levels are not learning what they should be learning – peer pressure lays greater stress on rowdy and aggressive behavior.
- Curbing abuse of the rights of children and women
- Girls remain and excluded segment without a hearth and or home – they do not belong to their parents’ home and they are not welcome in the home of their in-laws – women are for exploitation and that is what they face – unmitigated expressions of being an alien.
A group of women from the local communities both women and children organize regular meetings – house-to-house, one-to-one to identify intervention initiatives and solutions evolving from community members at the community level.
